Kumar Urban Development Pvt. Ltd. (Kumar Builders KUL) is a real estate development and construction company focusing on residential and commercial development projects in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Panchgani.
Currently Mr. Lalitkumar Jain is the chairman and managing director of Kumar Urban Development Limited. KUL was incorporated on May 25, 1993 by Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain as Kumar Housing and Land Development Limited.The company is an offshoot of the erstwhile Kumar Group, promoted by Mr. K.H. Oswal (father of Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain) in 1966 for carrying out real estate and construction business.〔http://www.cmlinks.com/pub/dp/dp35716.pdf〕 The company subsequently changed its name to Kumar Urban Development Limited in February, 2008 by following necessary corporate actions.
